Hi, my name is Cedric. I'm from France, and I've lived in Scotland for the last 6 years. I've been involved in sport and fitness all of my life. I've played hand-ball in national and international events and I competed in Judo for about 10 years achieving the grade of 1st Dan. My focus then shifted to mountaineering and winter sports.
I have studied sports science at university and achieved a masters degree in education and training performance. I also have national qualifications in coaching physical activities for both children and adults.
During these years I have developed my own philosophy about fitness. I truly believe that the most efficient way to get back in shape is to keep things simple.
Today in the fitness industry, there are lots of different machines and pieces of equipment. The choice of different programmes and exercise technique can be confusing for those new to resistance exercise. It's important not to get stressed about the technique, but you should be aware of which muscles you have to feel during your exercise in order to exercise safely and effectively.
